Silas got to visit with his Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Helton while we were in Indiana.

A candy gift exchange occurred today, and Silas got to benefit by a brief visit from Ryder.

Silas and I hung out at Crazy Mocha in Lawrenceville (avoiding our cold house). He got to play with his new wooden teether. He seems to really like it.

We met Maya and Ryder for brunch at Pamela's today. It felt just like old times, except now it's even better because we have Silas with us.

Kevin and Eric went boating together on the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers today and afterward Kevin came over for dinner and a little quality time with Silas.

Fairly uneventful Friday... we tried to get a tree again, and failed again.

Joy and Ceci came over for a visit. Ceci borrowed Silas's high chair to eat. She is 8 and a half months old. Silas was fascinated watching her eat. I think he's looking forward to being in the tall chair himself soon. There are two more pictures of Ceci and Joy on our flickr site here.

Silas and I spent a couple of hours at Big Dog coffee house on the South Side with Susie and Ruby... until Silas and Ruby simultaneously melted down due to lack of adequate nap time. This was before things went down hill...

We all had so much fun together for Thanksgiving, though we really tried to cram a lot in to our last full day together and things got a little stressful at times. Overall, it was still a fabulous day.

The day after Thanksgiving was a lazy day of hanging out at the Grandparents hotel all day, spending quality time together as a family. This is the only Silas photo I managed to take all day.
