The first pic below is actually a shot of Silas's first freckle. I first noticed it around 3 months old, but this is the first picture I got of it. It's on his right inner thigh. The second pic is where we ate lunch by the lake.

Pics from a day trip to Moraine State Park below. No pics of Silas in the canoe 'cause the life jacket was so unpleasant for him on this trip that he was in the boat for literally 1 minute. Alas. The picnicking and hiking were very nice, and Guthrie got a nice trip in the canoe with Eric. Eric took a ton of pics and he posted some of the best on his blog here. For an interesting contrast, Eric got a shot of Silas in his life jacket (pfd - personal flotation device) from our first canoe trip back in October here.
